Ms. Rao

Ms. Rao is an athlete and coach in the field of table tennis. She graduated from an Institute of Physical Education in China in 1989 and has been nationally recognized in China because of her achievements in the field. She was the head coach of a top Provincial Women’s Table Tennis Team in China. Ms. Rao has contributed much to the sport of table tennis and has trained world-class athletes.

Our experienced attorneys, with help from Ms. Rao, successfully proved that her accomplishments entail extraordinary ability at the top of her field and can potentially contribute to the future of the sport in the U.S. Supported by strong evidence, we have presented prizes received by her and the junior players that she trained, media reports on her and her students’ successes, her national titles and awards, and objective opinions and judgments from international leaders and experts in the sport of table tennis.

We filed the EB-1(a) alien of extraordinary ability petition for Ms. Rao in September 2008 with the USCIS Texas Service Center, and it was approved by USCIS in February 2009, with a processing time of only 6 months.

Mr. Yu

Mr. Yu is a journalist focused on reporting and commentary on foreign relations and international trade issues. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature in his home country, China, and received his Master’s Degree in International Policy and Practice at a top university in the U.S. Dr. Yu has contributed to the recognition and improvement of China-US relations in his news reports.

Our attorneys highlighted Dr. Yu’s achievements by presenting evidence proving his prominence in the field of journalism. We have demonstrated the significance of his work with his nationally recognized awards, reports and publications on his work, interviews by news agencies, his published works, his participation in news organizations, and judgment on the work of others.

We filed the EB-1A in early May 2009 with the USCIS Texas Service Center, and it was approved by the Texas Service Center in mid July 2009. This case was granted approval only two months after submission.
