Mr. Yang
Mr. Yang is an artist focusing on the medium of oil painting. He holds a Master of Arts Degree from a prominent arts university in China and a BA in Art Education. His unique painting style seamlessly blends Western and Chinese techniques, earning him large amounts of praise from the arts communities in both China and the United States.
Mr. Yang retained us to apply for an EB1A Immigrant Visa Petition for Alien of Extraordinary Ability. Mr. Yang was able to provide us with large volumes of information that showed he was certainly qualified to file an EB1A petition, but we still needed to demonstrate that the US requires such an outstanding painter. Therefore, in order to highlight the exceptional nature of his success in the right context, we analyzed the information and materials provided by Mr. Yang and emphasized the acclaim he has garnered both domestically and internationally. Although some aspects of his case were not as easy to demonstrate, such as showing that he has achieved high remuneration, we were able to effectively argue that Mr. Yang has achieved that standard through the high prices his work has fetched at auction.
Through presenting evidence that fulfilled the EB1A criteria, such as articles published in renowned journals, features in media publications, invitations to critique the work of others, critical roles in artistic organizations, and recommendation letters written by other prominent artists, we were able to showcase the exceptional talent and skill that make Mr. Yang a highly-regarded artist who is at the top of his field. We filed Mr. Yang¡¯s EB1A petition in August 2019 and it was approved only one month later in September 2019 without a Request for Evidence.
Dr. Chen (O-1 Extraordinary Ability)
Dr. Chen is a scientist working in the field of biotherapeutics and biomedical engineering. He obtained a BS in Aerospace Engineering from a top university in China. He then went on to earn a Master of Science degree from a highly-respected private research university in the United States and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from another prestigious university.
Dr. Chen retained us to apply for an O-1 Visa Petition for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement. Dr. Chen is an established biomedical engineer who is responsible for a variety of revolutionary biotherapeutics. His research on wearable robot technologies has transformed the daily lives of people who are living with disabilities and require prostheses, as well as stroke victims who have lost mobility in their limbs. Since Dr. Chen is an academic with a wealth of research experience, his influential articles in top journals, as well as other evidence such as review invitations and media reports on his work, proved highly useful. We were also able to assess and assert that Dr. Chen's experience being invited to perform peer reviews would be included under the criterion of serving as a judge on the work of others. In addition, recommendation letters from respected scientists in the field assured that we could express the importance of Dr. Chen's accomplishments and research work to USCIS.
Expertly utilizing the information provided to us, we were able to craft a presentation that showcased Dr. Chen¡¯s exceptional talent and outstanding practical work. We demonstrated the extraordinary nature of Dr. Chen's research by highlighting the majorly significant implications it has for the future of biomedical engineering. Dr. Chen has focused on devices that will improve quality of life for individuals with limited mobility. Due to the convincing case that we crafted, Dr. Chen's case was approved by USCIS in only three weeks.
