Ms. Rao

Ms. Rao is an athlete and coach in the field of table tennis. She graduated from an Institute of Physical Education in China in 1989 and has been nationally recognized in China because of her achievements in the field. She was the head coach of a top Provincial Women¡¯s Table Tennis Team in China. Ms. Rao has contributed much to the sport of table tennis and has trained world-class athletes.

Our experienced attorneys, with help from Ms. Rao, successfully proved that her accomplishments entail extraordinary ability at the top of her field and can potentially contribute to the future of the sport in the U.S. Supported by strong evidence, we have presented prizes received by her and the junior players that she trained, media reports on her and her students¡¯ successes, her national titles and awards, and objective opinions and judgments from international leaders and experts in the sport of table tennis.

We filed the EB-1(a) alien of extraordinary ability petition for Ms. Rao in September 2008 with the USCIS Texas Service Center, and it was approved by USCIS in February 2009, with a processing time of only 6 months.
